Death penalty

Death penalty is bad and injustice for poor people such as blacks, minority, and lower socioeconomic society. Usually when you look in the prison or juvenile jails are filled with these people. Crimes are high in poor neighborhood because of economic and financial challenges. These neighborhoods are unsafe, and are safe heaven for crooks such as drug dealer, prostitution and illegal activities. Police officers are more likely to arrest and sent to jail innocent person in these neighborhoods.  Why because it fits their profile. Some times persons who did not commit any crime can sit in jail for ever or face the death penalty.  I think death penalty is wrong because innocent people are put to death a crime that they did not commit.

School bullying

School bullying

Bullying is serous problem among school children. You can see bullying in school grounds or any where else. You see students bullying each other; for example, a students may be a target for being bullied because their appearances, what they wear and how they look. If a student is loner or quiet he or she may be is an easy target for bullies. Bullies harass these students by throwing their staff, taking their school lunch money and asking more things to give them. Bullies harass verbally and say bad things to the person that they are bullying. Bullies are created by students who are bullied in the past or bullies can be a strong big kid who intimidates other kids because of his or her size.
Kids who are different from the majority of other students, like bisexuals, gays, special kids and nerds face difficult to fit in and may be bullied a lot because of their appearances. These students may make excuses to stay home or fake that they are sick to avoid going to school so they don’t face their bullies or be humiliated in front of other students. Some of these students cannot handle the pressure and might be depressed and commit suicide by killing themselves. I don’t like bullies and bullying is a serious problem. I also don’t like people who just stand there and watch students who are bullying other students. They should stand up and stop the bullies by saying that is not Wright, stop it because it is not funny to bully and abuse these students. We can change bullying by standing up together and fixing this problem because bullying is a huge problem in school buildings.

Light’s out in Whitehal City

Light’s out in Whitehal City
Last week we lost power in my neighborhood. Not only my neighborhood but power was lost across from Ohio and six million people experienced without electricity. Why did we lose power? Because the big storm caused the power to be off. A lot of trees were down and knocked the electricity. The weather was horrible and reached over hundred degrees. People could not stay home because it was not safe at all. Many people stayed with their families and friends who had electricity on. Others went to the shelters or churches which had power on. My power came back after a day and half. I was so happy to have my power back.

My experience in Spaghetti Warehouse

I was excited the whole week about our lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse. I was trying to learn table minors and how to say please and thank you. I did learn table minors before but I forgot so it was a little challenging for me. On Friday morning I dressed up on a shirt and tie with black pants. It was very hot and the restaurant had a lot of people.
The Spaghetti Warehouse  When we interred the restaurant we were seated a nice long table by a good looking waiters.   The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and friendly. We started ordering the food by saying please and thank you. Mr. King explained to me what was on the menu and what to order. I ordered lasagna and the waiter asked me what kind of drink I would have. I had a coke and she brought a salad and bread with butter. The salad and the bread was the main course. Then served us with the second course which I had a lasagna. I was expecting the third course which we never got it. We did not get the deserts because some of us were full or we might not have enough money. Overall I had a wonderful experience at this trip on the Spaghetti Warehouse. a trip to remember!
Commenting on the interview of Senator Rubio on ABC news

David Muir of ABC world news interviewed senator Rubio and his wife in Miami Florida about the new immigration policy announcement from the White House. President Obama announced on illegal immigrants who came to the US under the age of   sixteen and younger and a criminal free will be allowed to stay in the US and will not face deportation.  Rubio responded on the interview about the new amendment on the immigration from the Obama White House office and here what he said I know that a lot of these kids will take this as good news because they are desperate for some form of resolution. This is a short-term solution. This is a short-term solution to something that requires a long-term answer. And my bigger concern is that by doing this by executive order by ignoring and going around the Congress this may make it harder in the long term to solve this problem and I’m concerned about that” Senator Rubio R-Florida continued to criticize Obama administration not contacting him or consulting with the congress to work together on the this issue. He said Obama used an executive order to help his political game.

Summer Mentoring at C-Ray Williams Pre-school

Mentoring pre-school children

My experience with the kids at the C-Ray Williams pre-school was fun and energetic. Kids were happy to see us and play together. We played with their toys, games and read to them. Some of the kids were excited and others were hyperactive to play with. We played Lego, blocks, and find the bear. While I was playing with them, they asked me my name and the school I was from. They were very nice and listened well. At the end we cleaned up the room with the kids and said goodbye and see you tomorrow.

Crisis on Columbus University

Review about higher learning movie

The story of higher learning movie was about racism, identity crisis, bullying and integrating different cultures all cross society. This movie was very powerful, moving, and had a lot of actual details. This movie is based on a college campus and the challenges students face during college years such as racial tension, rape and other issues students encounter in college. Lead actor of the movie is based on young African American student called Malik. He was a runner for Columbus University and received athletic scholarship which he relay on. Lead actress was based on a Caucasian young woman named Kristen who was raped. She struggles with her identity while Malik straggles with racial injustice and stereo typical in the college. These students have to deal with a tuff professor Phipps who teaches political science and expects a lot from his students. There is a fourth character called Remy who is a young white lonely man who struggles to fit in.
All these characters and supported characters represented all walks of society and what happen in their lives. This movie showed people identifying with their own group and trying to fight for their rights. Even tough some of their rights may be wrong. It is unfortunate that Remy kills students while they were having Peace rally. This movie shows that young people can be brain washed by separatist and tough evil actsto commit. At the end of the movie I see Malik running fast to reach dreams. Also he and Kristen get know each other.

Miami Heat Beat Thunder

NBA Finals
Last night NBA finals were at Miami on game three played by Miami Heat and Oklahoma Thunder.  Miami Heat played better than Oklahoma Thunder and led their team to victory on game three.  Kevin Durant, the best player of the Thunder had foul trouble and made mistakes through the game. On his absence, it made his team more difficult to face LeBron James and Wade of the Miami Heat who were playing defensively and offensively to win game three. Durant, was clearly frustrated with the mistakes that he me and never regained his offensive rhythm as the Thunder wished on game three.

School building burning

The smell of smoke is near and now I can see the flames and the thick gray clouds. I
run to the alarm and pulled it out and I yelled out for Help! Help! Help and said some thing is burning. Please call the cups 911!! 911!! 911!! And I also said call the Little Red House. I see a lot of people running and jumping and screaming for their life. Students are running from their classrooms to the exit in an orderly fashion. Teachers are helping students evacuate the building. When every body was of the school then the big red and silver truck with the loud siren arrived in time to put the flames out. The brave men with the flame proof suit and the helmet and oxygen saved the school building. They used water hose and sprayed a lot of water to put flames out.
